Post-Race – Indianapolis Motor Speedway

Indianapolis, Indiana – June 2026 – Adrian Wlostowski and Compass Manufacturing International (CMI) experienced a weekend filled with adversity, determination, and celebration at Indianapolis Motor Speedway as the Trans Am Series presented by Pirelli took on one of the most iconic venues in motorsports. Competing in both the TA2 and GT classes, Wlostowski showcased his versatility behind the wheel while delivering one of the most impressive comeback drives of his 2026 season.

Starting fifth in the No. 3 CMI Mustang, Wlostowski entered the TA2 race with high expectations after showing strong pace throughout the weekend. Those plans were disrupted early when contact from another competitor sent him deep into the field, dropping him all the way back to 28th position. Rather than letting the setback define the race, Wlostowski methodically worked his way forward, making decisive passes and capitalizing on every opportunity around the challenging Indianapolis road course. By the closing stages, he had climbed all the way back to 11th place, salvaging valuable championship points. The comeback effort became even more remarkable when the car suffered an alternator failure on the final lap, forcing Wlostowski to nurse the No. 3 Mustang to the checkered flag.

While the TA2 race highlighted resilience, the GT race provided a moment of triumph. Piloting the Howe HR6, Wlostowski delivered a commanding performance to secure victory in the GT class, adding another win to his growing resume and proving his ability to excel in multiple forms of competition during the same race weekend. Successfully managing two different cars, two race strategies, and two highly competitive fields made the accomplishment even more impressive.

The victory brought with it one of the most memorable traditions in American motorsports. Following the GT win, Wlostowski and the F.A.S.T. Auto Racing team celebrated in Victory Lane by kissing the bricks at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, a moment shared with the crew, supporters, and partners who helped make the weekend possible. From an incredible recovery drive in TA2 to standing atop the podium in GT competition, Indianapolis delivered a weekend that perfectly showcased the determination, talent, and perseverance of Adrian Wlostowski and CMI.
