Lakeville, Connecticut – May 2026 – Adrian Wlostowski and Compass Manufacturing International (CMI) continued their 2026 Trans Am Series presented by Pirelli campaign this past weekend at Lime Rock Park, where the No. 3 CMI Mustang battled through a highly competitive TA2 field to secure an eighth-place finish. The event was made even more special as CMI welcomed family, friends, and guests to the track, giving them a firsthand look at the excitement and intensity of professional road racing.
Piloting the No. 3 Mustang prepared by F.A.S.T. Auto Racing, Wlostowski showed solid pace throughout the weekend on Lime Rock Park’s fast and demanding 1.5-mile circuit. Known for its flowing layout and limited passing opportunities, the historic Connecticut track rewarded precision and consistency, creating close competition throughout the field.
As the race got underway, Wlostowski found himself in the middle of several hard-fought battles, fighting for position while managing the challenges of the tight and unforgiving circuit. Throughout the race, he maintained a disciplined approach, avoiding costly mistakes and maximizing the car’s performance against a stacked field of TA2 competitors.
For CMI, the weekend was about more than just the on-track result. The company hosted family members, friends, and supporters at the event, providing a behind-the-scenes experience of race weekend and an opportunity to see the No. 3 CMI Mustang compete in person. The gathering highlighted the strong relationship between the team, its partners, and the people who support the program throughout the season.
While an eighth-place finish was not the result the team had hoped for entering the weekend, the race provided valuable championship points and continued to build momentum as the season progresses. With another round completed and strong support both on and off the track, Wlostowski and the CMI-backed program remain focused on pushing forward and improving with each event.
